Their goal is to "develop a thriving community that puts children first, empowers parents, supports local organizations and businesses, and promotes environmental excellence and community pride. We communicate our mission to our diverse population by sharing community resources and encouraging healthy living."

The New Jersey Digital Highway is an on-going project that is useful to libraries, museums, genealogists, and the general public. Currently there are Several photographs, immigration records and a couple issues of "The NEWS" from the 1955 celebration of the city's centennial. Once you enter the site, search Egg Harbor City for a list of available materials.
