Getting to Know Egg Harbor City

The Egg Harbor City Historical Society is primarily composed of both local and area residents with an interest in local history. Membership is open to anyone for an annual membership fee of $10.00. Members are encouraged to volunteer their talents for the maintenance of the museum, be it carpentry skills, bookkeepinging and computer skills, housekeeping and baking skills, etc., but mainly their presence at meetings and other functions best serves the society.

An annual Members Dinner serves to introduce the society's elected Executive Committe and Trustees each year at the end of July.

Monthly meetings, which are open to the public, are usually held on the last Monday of each month with adjustments made for holidays. The business meeting usually lasts less than 30 minutes and is followed by a presentation of interest. Following the presentation, refreshments and coffee provided by volunteers is available to all attendees.
